The NFL is officially BACK and we get a rematch of Super Bowl LX on some Wednesday Night Football action to open the season. We have waited so long for this moment, and boy does it feel good to be back!
Here are my best bets & leans for the NFL Wednesday Night Football season opener.

Straights
When it comes to a side or the over/under in this game, I think I will be staying away from both. There are stats that I have found that made me like both the Patriots and the Seahawks, so I have no idea who I would want to take on the spread. When it comes to the over and under, I just have no idea and don’t have a real good read on the situation for me to pick either side. If I had to pick a side to give out, I’d probably take Seahawks -2.5 (-140) in this game, but like said I am going to stay away and lean more into the props.
Props
AJ Brown anytime touchdown (+155)
Of all the people to score a touchdown for the Patriots, I am between Rhamondre Stevenson or AJ Brown. I’m going give out AJ Brown because I like for the Patriots to get him in the paint early this season, and he could be a huge help in them having a chance to beat the Seahawks. No TreVeyon Henderson does make me like Rhamondre that much more as well though.
AJ Brown to have a catch on first drive (+125)
Speaking of getting Brown involved, I would expect the Patriots to script the first drive to have a play to get AJ Brown involved. My only fear for this bet is a run-run-dropped pass three and out. Besides that, I really like this bet.
Rashid Shaheed over 2.5 rush yards (-114)
I was between this bet or the Sam Darnold rushing over, but I settled for the former. I expect for the Seahawks to run at least one trick play with Shaheed, it is just a matter of if he can hit this over or not.
