After two wild games on Saturday, we head into the NFL Sunday Divisional Round games. Who will join the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks in the Championship round?

Here are my plays for the Sunday NFL Divisional Round.

Straights

Texans vs Patriots

The big matchup I’m excited to watch for in this game is the Texans defense versus Drake Maye and the offense. Drake Maye has truly had some special moments this season, but now he has to try and do it against the number one or number two defense in the league. When it comes to the other side of the ball, I am very nervous about the Texans offense now that Nico Collins is going to be out with a concussion. This Patriots defense is good at stopping the run when Milton Williams is in, so the Texans will need a good game out of CJ Stroud.

In my opinion, this game is going to come down to which quarterback can perform better. If CJ Stroud is able to show up like he does usually against the Indianapolis Colts, then he should be able to pick apart that Patriots defense enough for the Texans defense to secure the win. If we get the CJ Stroud we got last week, then there is a really good chance of Drake Maye will be able to lead this Patriots team to win. This Houston Texans defense is good enough to win every single game, they just need CJ Stroud and the offensive put up a few points.

Official bet: Patriots -3 (-110)

Rams vs Bears

This will be a VERY cold game in Chicago. While I do think I will be taking the Rams on the spread, this Chicago team does have me very nervous. While they do tend to start out pretty slow, the Bears always have seemed to find a way to rally back this season. For the Rams to win this game, they are going to have to have a good ground attack. The Bears have been very susceptible in the ground game this year, as that has seemingly been the one way to get at them most effectively. As for the Chicago Bears, they are just going to have to not come out to a slow start. If they can pounce on the Rams early, then I think there’s a very good chance of Chicago is the one who wins this game.

While I will be taking the Rams to win this game, I think I am going to try to find a way to hedge with the Chicago Bears. the weather does not have me nervous, but the Rams secondary versus Caleb Williams playmaking ability does.

Official bets:

– LA Rams -3.5 (-120)

– Rams first half spread -2.5 (-110) & money line (-162)

– Rams first half/Bears to win game (+1000)

Props

For the Patriots & Texans game, I am a bit nervous to take props on both sides. The Texans defense is VERY good, and the Texans offense without Nico Collins has me a bit worried about how they will do. I will be targeting scrambling for both Quarterbacks while also picking one receiving target.

– Drake Maye rush over 37+ rush yards (-113)

– CJ Stroud over 9.5 rush yards (-112)

– Hunter Henry over 39.5 recieving yards (-112)

– Drake Maye most rushing yards in game (+360)

For the Bears & Rams game, I am looking at targeting Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, and then the rushing attack on the Rams side. As for the Bears side, it’s the rushing attack with D’Andre Swift, Caleb Williams, and the receiving game of Colston Loveland.

– Colston Loveland over 56.5 receiving yards (-112)

Puka Nacua over 7.5 receptions (-112)

– Davante Adams over 4.5 receptions (+108)

– Caleb Williams over 20+ rush yards (-108)

Anytime touchdown scorers

Hunter Henry (+200), Rhamondre Stevenson (+160) Drake Maye (+320), Dalton Schultz (+230), Colston Loveland (+200), Davante Adams (-115), Kyren Williams (+120), Puka Nacua (-110), & finally D’Andre Swift (+145).
