The NFL has a gift to give us, as there are two beautiful games on a Wednesday afternoon. In game one Of NFL Christmas Day, we have the Kansas City Chiefs on the road to play the Pittsburgh Steelers. In game two, the Baltimore Ravens are the team on the road, as they take on the Houston Texans.
Here are my plays for NFL Christmas Day in Week 16.
Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and for my full breakdowns and analysis. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.
Straights
Chiefs -2.5 (-115)
The Chiefs under a field goal? I for sure love this number. The Chiefs have played in so many close games this year, and this looks to be another one. With the Steelers getting George Pickens back this week, this gives them a chance to put up some points on offense. I’ll look for the Chiefs to be able to win this game and for them to be able to clinch the number one seed.
Ravens -5.5 (-110) & game total over 46.5 (-115)
As for this game against the Texans, I have a feeling that the Ravens could make this game ugly. While the Texans will have to show some fight in this, there’s a chance that the Ravens offense may just be too much. I look for the Ravens to win by over a touchdown and for this game to hit the over.
Props
Marquise Brown over 3.5 receptions (-120) & over 39.5 receiving yards (-113)
Brown looked like the best receiver on the field for the Chiefs last game. With him getting involved more and with how healthy his legs are because of the time off, I look for him to get a few more targets in this game, allowing him to hit both of these overs.
Deandre Hopkins over 3.5 receptions (+108)
Hopkins has hit this over in seven of his last eight games. I love this number at 4 or lower, so I’ll be taking Hopkins to get 4+ receptions again.
Derrick Henry over 91.5 rush yards (-113)
With no Justice Hill in this game, I expect Henry to be getting a few extra touches.
Lamar Jackson over 45.5 rush yards (-113)
With the Justice Hill injury, Baltimore may use Lamar Jackson’s legs more in the rushing game, so Derrick Henry doesn’t have as heavy of a load. 45 feels like a good number, so I will be taking the over.
Dalton Schultz 5+ receptions (+142)
With Tank Dell injured, the wide receiver room is starting to become super thin. Due to that, I will be taking the over receptions with Schultz. He hit this over last game, and I expect him to maybe even get a few more than five.
Anytime touchdown scorers
Marquise Brown +330
Travis Kelce +185
Calvin Austin +450 or George Pickens +150
Derrick Henry -185
Mark Andrews +160
Nico Collins +140
Dalton Schultz +380
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
Monday was a bit off, as we just slipped under $700 profit on the season. Maybe we can get some Christmas magic on our side, and get back to the winning ways.
I was able to get odds of +1040:
- Marquise Brown over 3.5 receptions (-120)
- Marquise Brown over 39.5 receiving yards (-113)
- Dalton Schultz 5+ receptions (+142)
- Mark Andrews anytime touchdown (+160)
