WOW. What an ending to Sunday Night football we just witnessed. Will Monday Night Football in Week One be able to follow that up? We have the Minnesota Vikings traveling to Chicago to take on the Bears. JJ McCarthy in his first start vs Caleb Williams. Who will be 1-0 to close out Week One?
Here are my plays for Monday Night Football Week One.

Straights
Vikings moneyline (-116)
To be honest, I do not have really any straights in this game. At first I leaned the over, but the under happened to go 12-3 this week and now has me second-guessing. If I had to pick a side, it would be the Vikings. To be honest, I have no idea if I’m gonna bet this or not, but I will at least give it out for a play tonight. I will probably try to catch a live number that is a slight bit better, as maybe the Vikings will start slow on offense with McCarthy?
Truly, this pick comes down to me choosing Kevin O’Connell over Ben Johnson. While I do think Ben Johnson could be a great head coach, he still has a lot to prove. I’m gonna go with what I’ve seen before, and take the Vikings to win. One thing that could help them out is all the injuries that Chicago has to defensive back. 
Player Props
JJ McCarthy over 16.5 rush yards (-112)
To be honest, I’m not sure how much JJ McCarthy will run. However, I like that this number is under 20 yards. He ran a decent amount in College when needed, and I could see him doing that here as well on the road.
Adam Thielen over 26.5 receiving yards (-112)
Adam Thielen returns home to Minnesota, and I expect them to use him right away with Jordan Addison out for three weeks. Thielen should be a great short route option for McCarthy, allowing him to get enough opportunities to hit his over.
Justin Jefferson Anytime touchdown (+132)
There are a lot of injuries to the Bears defensive backfield. Due to that, I think Justin Jefferson will be able to take advantage and get open. 
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
Not a great start to the NFL Nasty Boys. For this one, I am going to go all player props and take out touchdowns.
