We have one more game to finish off this Week 8 slate. This Monday Night Football matchup sees the Las Vegas Raiders travel to take on the Detroit Lions. Here are my plays for tonight’s game.

Straights
Lions -6.5 (-132)
Both the Lions and the Raiders are coming off bad losses. The Raiders lost to the Bears, while the Lions got waxed by the Ravens. Coming back home, I see the Lions taking this chance to bounce back. This Raiders defense can get got, especially if you block Maxx Crosby. I will be taking the Lions to win by a touchdown at home. The odds are a bit juiced, but I preferred to be on this side of the 7, and not on 7.5 in case some craziness happens. Give me the Lions to win by a touchdown.
Props
Sam LaPorta over 4.5 receptions (+126)
Sam LaPorta has been the star amongst the rookie tight ends. He has had a very good season to start out the year so far. He has had over five receptions in three games this year, and had four in all of the rest other than one. I look for him to be a feature in tonight’s game. Give me LaPorta’s over in receptions.
Jakobi Meyers over 59.5 rec yards (-113)
Meyers seems to be Jimmy Garoppolo’s favorite target. He does have less yards and receptions than Davante Adams, but I feel as if watching the game I see Jakobi end up with the ball a lot. Due to this and the focus the Lions defense will have on Davante, I will be on Meyers receiving over.
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
This Monday Night Football Week 8 nasty boy is a more simple one. I played it on the safer side tonight, and got odds of +515. You can boost that with a 50% boost and get offs of +772:
- Jared Goff over 225 passing yards (-360)
- Jahmyr Gibbs over 60+ rush yards (-200)
- Jahmyr Gibbs over 3+ receptions (-340)
- Sam LaPorta anytime TD (+165)
