Week Seven is upon us and MAN do we got some great games this weekend. These next two weekends of College Football looks to give us some thrillers.

Here are my plays for the College Football Week Seven slate.

Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and Captain By A Hook for my full breakdowns. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Straights

Vanderbilt +13.5 (-110)

For me this number feels too big. I know Kentucky’s defense has been good and Vanderbilt is coming off a really big win, but it feels as if this is still too high. I like what I saw from Vanderbilt offense last week against Bama, and I looked for them to find ways to scheme up something against this Kentucky defense, coming off of bye.

Army -25.5 (-114)

Army has covered for me all year and I will look for them to do it again here in the spot. UAB might be on quit watch for this season, so that could be a good sign for this number here. Army is looking to do something special this season, and look for them to continue to roll with a win here

Washington +2.5 (+100)

I feel as if this game will be a rinse and repeat of Michigan vs Washington from last week. I feel as if Washington might start off slow, but they will be able to rally back and win it from behind. I will be taking the points, but money line might not be a bad play either.

Georgia Tech -4.5 (-112)

UNCs defense has been horrible this year. In this game, I look for Georgia Tech to be able to run up the score a little bit and take control by using the run game. Assuming Georgia Techs able to get a seven to ten lead, I look for them to take complete control of this game on offense.

Rutgers -2.5 (-105)

When it comes to this game, I just don’t know what Wisconsin’s gonna do on offense. I feel as if they were able to have an offense explosion mainly due to Purdue defense being horrid. Playing against the Rutgers team who is defending home field. I will not be shocked if Wisconsin struggles a bit more on offense in this game.

I’ll look for Rutgers to win this game by a field goal and bounce back from a close loss to Nebraska last week.

San Jose -1.5 (-110)

San Jose has been good to us so far this year, and is coming off a comeback win last week. My numbers and stats have San Jose as a better team just a bit above Colorado State, so I will look for them to win this game by about a field goal to touchdown range.

Colorado +3.5 (-105)

Colorado having run game is a really nice wrinkle to see. If they are able to keep this up, this team will be truly dangerous in the Big 12. This is as HUGE game for both sides, as a win would propel both into a great future. Avery Johnson had a rough road game against BYU. If he does that again here, Colorado is talented enough at the scale position to be able to take advantage.

The biggest part of this will be the defense. If the defense is able to hold up and stop the run, then Colorado stands a chance in this game. I got this number at +5.5 last week but still don’t mind the 3.5 points. Colorado may win this game out right, and this will be a fun game to close out this College Football Week Seven Slate.
