The New York Giants are re-signing wide receiver Darius Slayton to a three-year, $36-million contract per Josina Anderson.
Slayton has played all of his six seasons in his career for the Giants, catching 259 passes for 3,897 yards and 21 touchdowns in 92 career games. He posted a 39 receptions for 573 yards and two touchdown stat line in 2024.
Many expected Slayton to leave New York this offseason due to the team’s passing game limitations and the teams struggles over the past few seasons. Instead, he’ll continue to provide the Giants with a veteran weapon to play alongside 2024 first-round pick Malik Nabers.
The Giants quarterback room looks like it will be Russell Wilson starting, with Jameis Winston and 2025 first round pick Jaxson Dart competing for the backup spot. The Giants also have a win total set at 5.5 wins with a very tough schedule this year.
