The Colts and Saints are both looking to add some depth to their running back room.

After a visit with the Saints concluded today, Kareem Hunt had a visit lined up with the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts have offered him more money than the Saints, but numbers have not been leaked yet.

New Orleans is looking to get troops in reserve for its running back corps with Alvin Kamara suspended for the first three games of the season. Kendre Miller is currently dealing with an injury, so that just basically  leaves Jamaal Williams to get a lot of carries until the other two come back.

The Colts are in a semi similar boat as of now. The backup, Zack Moss, broke his arm and is out for a few more weeks still. As for Jonathan Taylor, he is in the middle of a contract dispute as well as healing from injuries he suffered last year. With new coach Shane Steichen and new quarterback Anthony Richardson, the Colts offense would benefit majorly from adding in Hunt. Even if the Colts smooth things over with Taylor, he and Hunt would be a dangerous one two combo.

The Colts are looking to turn over their offense and culture from last season. The Saints are looking to add more depth at running back. Kareem Hunt could be a huge addition for either of these teams. Hunt spent the last four years with the Cleveland Browns after spending the first two with Kansas City. He has 1,106 touches for 5,831 yards and 48 touchdowns in 76 career games.
