Braves Clinch Division
The Atlanta Braves have won the NL East, again. This is not like the 90’s where this team won the division 14 times in a row with little post season success.
This Braves team already has a ring from the exciting 2021 season. This team is quietly one of the best teams I have ever seen. That only dates back to about 25 years of baseball.
In those 25 years there has not been a team hitting like this current lineup is hitting for the Braves.
With 16 games left on the schedule, the Braves clinched first place in their division after beating division foe, Philadelphia Phillies.
This is the second earliest the team has ever clinched the division, the first being the year 1995. This now bring the Braves up to league leading 23 times they have won their division.
This team has been special to watch this season, and will now turn their focus to October baseball. The playoffs baby.
While dominating the regular season does not always translate to postseason success, Ronald Acuna Jr stated that the job was not done!
