The Watt family is just full of freaks of nature.
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt dislocated a finger and tore multiple ligaments in his hand during Sunday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens, sources told NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian.
Watt would continue to play in the game, and even had a huge play to help clinch the game. TJ Watt is expected to miss no time going forward as well. However, he may need to undergo offseason hand surgery depending on how it heals during the campaign, according to Rapoport.
The former Defensive Player of the Year currently has 15 tackles, a league-high eight sacks, seven tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, 15 quarterback hits, and four passes defensed this season. With the way the offense has looked so far this season, TJ putting up these numbers have been a huge help to the offense.
With the Steelers on bye, this is a huge week to heal for TJ . The Steelers cannot afford to lose the star pass rusher.
