Week 4, already? Where has the time gone, feels like just last week we were crying about not having any football, and now, we are in football heaven.

Week 4 is going to be a week where teams can truly prove themselves. Trust me 4-0 means a lot more than 3-0 at this level of ball.

NCAAF Bets: The Red Beard

I have 5 bets for this Saturday.

First Bet: Rutgers, Big Road Dogs

Michigan will have their head coach back after serving his three game suspension for the cheeseburger scandal of 2020.

Both teams coming into this Big 10 matchup undefeated. Rutgers winning all three games as a somewhat heavy favorite will now take on the underdog role.

I plan on Rutgers coming out aggressive and Michigan coming out flat. I can see Michigan taking most of the first half finding their groove in this game. Give me Michigan winning this one, being much closer than it should be, 31-24. (Rutgers +24.5 -115)

Second Bet: ACC Showdown

Clemson will host Florida State this Saturday, which already paints the picture in your mind of Clemson at home. While Clemson has not been playing particularly well this season, they can always turn it on at home.

Florida State has played a tough schedule and has looked dominate. The style of football the Seminoles are playing right now has them towards the top of my power rankings. I have this game closer to 4.5 than the current number.

As much as I love a home dog and Clemson at home. Give me the road favorite to win and win by margin. Florida State 40, Clemson 27. (Florida State -2.5 -105)

NCAAF Bets

Third Bet: Pac-12 Final Rally

The Pac-12 is beginning it’s last year in existence with a bang. The conference has a number of school in the top 25, and another number of school fighting to get in.

Oregon State was a trendy pick in the pre season to make some noise and they have looked up to par with few down sides. Washington State is the team that has gain the most hype over the first few weeks.

In college football, and you will hear me say this about a later game as well, give me the team with the better quarterback when everything else looks even. Oregon State wins a brawl, 38-33. (Oregon State -2.5 -122)

Fourth Bet: A total in Texas

Texas State will probably go down as my biggest win of the season from week 1, hitting their money line against Baylor at +1600.

Then I got trigger happy and took them as dogs the next week to no avail. Now they are at home against a (in my opinion) horrible Nevada team and are favored by 17.5 points.

I like the spread a little, however I like the over a lot. Give me Texas State putting on an offensive show and cruising to over this number. Texas State wins 52-17. (Nevada/Texas St O 59.5 -105)

Fifth Bet: Fighting Irish in Prime Times Lights

Nothing is better that putting the tv on NBC on a Saturday night in September and seeing those gold helmets under the lights, even for a guy like me who is not a fan.

The big and bad Ohio State Buckeyes will roll into town to take on Notre Dame Saturday night. An Ohio State team who has struggled thus far this season on offense.

The ground game will be their only attack, once forced to air it out, I have the Fighting Irish having the advantage.

Give me Sam Hartman, the better quarterback as I alluded to earlier. Notre Dame win a close one outright 31-28, I will take the points with the Irish. (Notre Dame +3.5 -118)

NCAAF Bets: Recap

Rutgers +24.5 -115
Florida State -2.5 -105
Oregon State -2.5 -122
Nevada/Tx State O 59.5 -105
Notre Dame +3.5 -118
