There are a lot of different directions we could go on this beautiful Friday. Yet, I will keep it simple, ride the team on an 11 game win streak as I have been the last few days and fade the worse team in baseball.

Easy enough, right?

First Bet: Fade the A’s

Fade the A’s has been a movement this season with them being the worse team in the league. The turmoil between the team, the fan base, and the owner is another article in itself, yet tonight we will fade the A’s as many bettors have including myself over this season.

The pitcher for Oakland has not been announced yet. We do know who is starting for Baltimore, Kyle Gibson (11-7, 4.89). The Orioles have been a surprise juggernaut in 2023 and possibly become one of my favorite team to bet on and watch.

Tonight is a no brainer for me to take the O’s on the run line on the road in Oakland. (Orioles -1.5 -115)

Second Bet: LA Dodgers are HOT

The LA Dodgers over the last 50 games have been the best team in baseball. At the moment they have won 11 in a row and show no signs of slowing up. LA will host Miami tonight, a good team fighting for a wildcard spot.

Last year’s Cy Young winner will take the mound for the Marlins, however he has been far from his Cy Young numbers of last year. Sandy Alcantara (5-10, 4.09) has actually been one of the dark spots of this year’s Marlins team.

It really didn’t matter to me who the Dodgers throw out on the bump for this game, yet Tony Gonsolin (8-4, 4.24) does make me happy as a bettor.

Give me the Dodgers, the Brooklyn Bums on the run line as well at home. (Dodgers -1.5 +145)

MLB Bets: Recap

Orioles -1.5 -115
Dodgers -1.5 +145
