CBB Power Rankings 12.05.2023.

This article is going to be exactly what it sounds like from the title. Every Tuesday I will release my top 10 college basketball teams in the country according to my power rankings.
Last year while UConn was never ranked number one nationally, I had them as the number team for stretches last season.
My rankings unlike the Ap and Coaches polls are based on two completely separate things. I focus more on gambling and the tournament. For example, the best record, or run does not phase me. The chemistry and rebounding will tell me more about how deep a team will go in March.
Which is what I focus this weekly power rankings on. How good are you against the spread? How deep do I think you can go in March?
CBB Power Rankings 12/05/2023
- Arizona

- Kansas
- UConn
- Houston
- Baylor
- Marquette
- Colorado State
- Creighton
- Clemson
After a few hours of mulling over this list, I had to finally tell myself, it does not matter if I hate it, this is the list.
Some of these teams still have a lot to prove to be ranked where they are and some teams are closer to falling off the list than being on it. However at this moment in time when no team have truly proven anything but volatility, this is the list we have.
I believe within the next two weeks we will truly have a power rankings we can trust, agree with and rely on going into conference play starting in January.
College basketball is back and this is what it is all about. In a week where almost everybody with a number next to their name took a loss, all we can say is that the Madness is real. It is only December.
