Kentucky and Kansas played in what was an instant classic on Tuesday night. True superstar power on both sides was on display last night. Hunter Dickinson being at the forefront with a monster game, 27 points and 21 rebounds.

Kevin McCullar Jr. records a triple double for Kansas with 12 points 10 rebounds and 10 assist. While Dajuan Harris Jr. scores 23 points and dishes out 7 assist. KJ Adams Jr. scored 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.

Both teams shined bright with the lights on them in what is maybe the most iconic college basketball game outside of Duke/North Carolina.

Adou Thiero scored 16 points with 13 rebound recording a double-double for the Wildcats. Antonio Reeves would be Kentucky’s high point man with 24 points and 8 rebounds. Rob Dillingham scored 18 of his own while Reed Sheppard scored 13 points.

Kentucky Kansas. Iconic.

This game was the ultimate tale of two halves. Kentucky had control of the game the entire first half, taking a 48-41 point lead into halftime.

The second half is when Dajuan Harris Jr. got rolling and the momentum shifted to Kansas. The Jayhawks out shot the Wildcats from the field, shooting 47.5% to their 32.9%.

Once Kansas took the lead in the second half they refused to give it up. Dickinson padded his stats a tad late with some made free throws to ice it. Both of these teams look fantastic this season, we just witnessed a final four or even championship style game.

College basketball is back and this is what it is all about.
