No. 12 Kentucky Beats No. 8 Miami by 22 in the ACC/SEC Challenge on Tuesday night.

Kentucky let their shooting do the talking on Tuesday night as the team combined for nearly 60% from the field. Shooting 59.7%, scoring 95 points in the victory. 95-73 total.

Miami couldn’t keep up with Kentucky coming out of the half as the Wildcats had a ferocious start to the second half. Pushing their 5 point lead to 15 in a matter of minutes. They would never look back, going up by 23, 47-73, by the 12 minute mark of the second half.

The assist differential between the two teams almost says it all. Miami ended the game with only 8 assist to Kentucky’s 26.

Kentucky beats Miami: Stand Out Players

Miami had three players in double digits scoring. Norchad Omier scored a team high with 20 points while grabbing 6 rebounds. Wooga Poplar scored 19 of his own with a team high 8 rebounds along the way. Christian Watson chipped in with 10 points off the bench hitting 2-3 from behind the line.

Kentucky had a number of players with eye popping stats. As the wildcats shared the ball all night getting everybody on their short 8 man rotation involved.

Tre Mitchell had a modest 14 points in comparison to how he impacted the game. He finished with 7 assist, 5 rebounds, a steal, and 2 blocks. Reed Sheppard had a team high with 21 points along with 5 rebounds, 4 assist, and 3 steals.

Rob Dillingham had the best all around on both sides scoring 12 points, dishing out 9 assist while grabbing 5 rebounds in only 22 minutes.

Antonio Reeves scored 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Justin Edwards also scored double digits with 11.

The entire team shot the ball extremely efficient, while sharing it with love. This Kentucky Wildcat team looks good, really good.
