Week Two is here and we have a lot of exciting games! From Texas vs Michigan, to Colorado vs Nebraska, we have a lot of fun action that should be in store for this weekend!
Here are my plays for College Football Week Two.

Straights
Friday
Duke – Northwestern Under 37.5 (-118)
It looks to be super windy in Evansville. Along with that, both of these offenses have not impressed me so far to start the year. I look for this to be a low scoring defensive battle to kickoff Week Two of College Football.
Saturday
Notre Dame -28.5 (-110)
I look for the Fighting Irish defense to shut down NIU. Notre Dame looked really impressive in College Station, and now get a good chance to run up the score in the home opener. If Notre Dame is able to go up big on offense, I believe the defense should be able to shut down NIU to the point a lot of starters could be sitting. A backdoor situation is scary, but I believe the Irish can pull through.
Boise State +19.5 (-105)
This for me is similar to the Florida State game last week. Oregon struggled to put up points on Idaho, and that game was a bit closer than it should have been. Meanwhile, Boise State showed off an explosive run game last week against Georgia Southern. If Oregon takes another week to get the kinks out, then giving out 19.5 points may be a bit too much for Boise State.
Oklahoma State -7.5 (-110)
I am a bit nervous of the number, but still think the boys can get it done. Facing Arkansas, this will be a good test to see how Oklahoma State will do against better competition. If Oklahoma State can get Ollie Gordon going, then there is no stopping this offense. If Oklahoma State plays to the level they are capable of, I can see them winning by 10 plus points.
As of posting this article the number has moved to 9.5 SHEESH. I still believe anything under 10 should work.
Rutgers -23.5 (-110)
I am a bit nervous about this play, but this is a good opportunity Rutgers to roll here and win big. This could be a big season for Rutgers, and a huge win here could go along way to building confidence for them.
South Carolina – Kentucky Under 42.5 (-110)
South Carolinas offense has been meh so far to start this season. On the other side, Kentucky has moved the ball slowly on offense . IF Kentucky can go up, they will control the game and slow down the tempo according to last weeks game. Regardless, I like the idea of both of these teams struggling a bit on offense, and helping out the under.
App State – Clemson Under 53.5 (-115) & App State +17 (-110)
Clemson got beat down by Georgia last week, and I feel as if they may need a bit of a recovery week. While Clemson still may win, I look for Appalachian State to play them tough. I also look for either team to drain the air out of the ball a bit, and for the pace to be a bit slower. Appalachian State has a good chance to catch Clemson here, and I look for them to at least cover.
I am also curious to see how Clemson bounces back after the mauling the took in the second half last week. The offense especially needs to show up in this game for the Tigers if they want to win.
Nevada Moneyline (-113)
Nevada has had a really infesting two weeks start out the season. After really showing up in Week Zero and almost beating SMU, they are able to get a two point win against Troy. I have liked what I’ve seen with their offense so far this year, so it’s kind of shocking to see them as only -113 in this game. With Boise States defense not being as good, it may have inflated Georgia Southern value a bit. Due to this, I am looking to take advantage here and take Nevada at good odds.
Iowa -2.5 (-124)
This number feels a bit low. Iowa showed they had some offense last week. Meanwhile, Iowa State defense is a bit shaky. With Iowa’s defense still being a really good defense, I look for the offense to do just enough for the cover to not be an issue this game.
Georgia Tech -2.5 (-115)
I am so scared of this game, but it feels like I have to take it right? Tech has made me money the last two weeks, so it only feels right. Some things I am scared of however:
First game of conference play
On the road
And you are now ranked? Yeah, this has me super nervous.
I love the look of the rushing attack Georgia Tech has so far. IF it carries over, Tech should be able to cover here and take control of the pace in this game.
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
We have been really close the last two weeks on hitting the nasty boy. Maybe this week might just be the week!
For this nasty boy, we got two unders and two touchdown scorers. I was able to get odds of +1053 boosted to +1580 with a 50% boost
- Navy – Temple under 43.5 (-118)
- Kansas State – Tulane under 47.5 (-110)
- Donovan Edwards anytime touchdown (+118)
- Jamal Haynes anytime touchdown (-200)
