Man, the season is flying by already! We are into Week Three of the College Football season, and we are creeping closer to the beginning of Conference play.

Here are my bets for College Football Week Three

Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod for my full breakdowns and analysis. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Straights

Thursday

NC State -7 (-118) (I gave this out on the JCPod, I’m sorry for the delay in this being posted)

NC State is just the better team. While they may start out slow (which they have so far in the first two games), I fully expect for NC State to clean it up by halftime, and pull away late to win this game by 10+ points.

Friday

New Mexico +15.5 (-110)

New Mexico has an offense than can be truly hard to game plan for. I’m also not too sure how good this UCLA team is. I know Nico Iamaleava has been playing alright, but his offensive line is pretty poor. Their defense has also given up 43 and 30 points the last two games.

While I’m not sure if New Mexico will win this, I do like for them to keep it within two touchdowns. I like it even more when the Bruins defense seems like they enjoy giving up points.

Saturday

South Florida +17.5 (-110)

My one fear of taking the USF spread is how good Miami’s defensive line is. That unit seems like it will be a problem for everyone that the Hurricanes play. South Florida has been relying a lot on explosive plays so far this year, so they will need more of that to keep it close in this game.

One thing that I do love about this spread is Mario Cristobal. He is one of those Coaches that likes to sit on a lead late in the game. If Miami is up 14-20+ points in the fourth quarter, I have a good feeling that the Hurricanes will try to be sitting on that lead. This allows a chance for the good ol backdoor cover.

Clemson -3 (-108)

This number feels like it has dropped a bit too low, unless there are some real cultural issues with the Tigers. If Clemson is able to play up to their talent level, they will be able to win this game. The biggest thing they have to do is focusing on Haynes King and not allow him to wreck the game.

While I do think Georgia Tech will play them tough, it just feels like Clemson has too much talent to lose this game here. I believe that the Troy game from last week has woken up Clemson a bit.

Oregon -27.5 (-105)

Oregon is the better team here. Also, after how I saw Preston Stone play against Tulane, I just have no faith in Northwestern’s offense. While I don’t think it will be as bad as the Oklahoma State score, I do see this being a similar type of game.

Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day

It’s starting to hurt my feelings and become a bit personal on how close we are getting to hitting without hitting. Can this week be the week?

I was able to get odds of +1149 boosted to+1724 with a 50% boost:

  • Utah state +4.5 (-108)
  • Memphis -3.5 (-120)
  • Duke moneyline (+100)
  • Jacksonville State +3.5 (-130)

Let’s have a DAY! PLEASE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY
