We are almost halfway through the College Football season now, and that means the College Football Playoffs are looming. While we figure out some teams that will be in, there is still room for a few more teams to make their way to the big dance.
Here are my plays for the College Football Week Seven slate.

Straights
Friday
South Florida +1.5 (-114)
It is very weird to say that a team is not tested when it comes to the group of five level. However, when it comes to these two teams, South Florida has by far played more top tier competition than North Texas. I look for USF to be a little battle hardened based on the teams they played, and be able to come into this game and take advantage. This will be a good quarterback matchup as well.
This should be a high scoring battle, and I look for USF to be able to pull out a tough one in against North Texas.
Saturday
Maryland +7.5 (-132)
I like that Maryland is getting +7 points again at home this week. I think after the heartbreak of last week, the boys will be a little more focused with Nebraska coming into town. While I am a bit scared of how good that Nebraska offense is, they have been a little susceptible on defense this year.
Indiana +7.5 (-118)
The Hoosier defensive line will need to have a good game to keep this close. This will be a massive test for Indiana to prove that they belong in the College Football Playoff conversation. Oregon may be on a different level than Indiana, but I do think the Hoosier offense can get enough points to hang around. I will say, I am a bit nervous about this play based on how truly good Oregon has been this year.
TCU money line (-116)
While this will be a tough Big 12 battle, I like for TCU to pull it out over Kansas State. Kansas State has had an up and down season, while TCU has been having a great season so far. TCU needs to win to stay in the Big 12 title race, so I will look for them to get a tough win on the road here. Kansas State is also dealing with a ton of injuries this week.
Utah State money line (-120)
I like for Utah State to go on the road and get a win in Hawaii. This game could truly go either way, and this is probably my most nervous bet of the day. We only need two more wins to hit our season win total over with Utah State, and this could potentially be one of those two games for them to win. Utah State should be able to score, it’s just a matter of can they get a key stop or two to help them win the game.
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
Last year, it took us all the way until the final two weeks of the regular season to get a winner. I don’t plan on it being that long this year, and feel pretty good about this week’s opportunity. There are a couple game spreads and money lines that I really liked.
I was able to get odds of +1144 boosted to +1488 with a 30% boost:
- Alabama-Missouri over 52.5
- Utah State moneyline
- Michigan +3.5
- Northern Illinois-Eastern Michigan under 47.5 (-105)
