It is crazy to think that it is already Week Four of the College Football season! We got some good 3-0 vs 3-0 matchups, and this looks to be another fun weekend of College Football!

Here are my plays for Week Four of College Football!

Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod and Captain By A Hook for my full breakdowns. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Straights

Friday

Nebraska -7.5 (-110)

This is going to be a really fun Big10 matchup on a Friday Night! I look for Nebraska to be able to do enough to win this game by close to 10. I feel as if Illinois will be able to hang tough for awhile, but will fade a bit late. This is a huge test for Nebraska, and I look for them to pass it.

San Jose +13 (-110)

I feel as if San Jose is a pretty good team, and I feel as if they’re getting a few too many points. Washington State is coming off a huge emotional win after beating Washington and winning the Apple Cup. They then now have to play a San Jose team who has really impressed me so far this season with what they have done based on who they have played. This is the first real road test for San Jose and I see a chance them to be able to keep it within two touchdowns. I am not sure if San Jose will be able to win the game, but I am in hopes that they will be able to keep it within reach for long enough to cover.

Saturday

Indiana -28.5 (-110)

So far to start out the year, Indiana had completely demolished every opponent they have played so far. Coming to this game against Charlotte, I’m not a fan of either of the quarterbacks that could end up playing for Charlotte. I am a believer in Curt Cignetti, and he is truly turning around this Indiana program. I look for them to win, big and win by a lot here in this game .

Indiana has looked really good on offense. Getting Kurtis Rourke was a great get in the transfer portal, and so far it has paid off.

Army -6.5 (-110)

I am not a fan of what Rice is put on tape so far this year, but I am a fan of what Army has done. I look for to them to win this game by close to 10 as the control the game and tempo in this matchup.

Michigan +5.5 (-115)

This bet probably gave me the most stress out of anyone to place. I am just gonna look for Michigan defense to take over home turf in the big house against USC. I have no idea what to expect from Alex Orji, but I am hoping his can do a lot of the work with his legs and just enough with his arm. If so, this is just enough for Michigan to be able to cover, maybe even win.

Tulane -1.5 (-115)

Tulane played Oklahoma really tough and it took a late rally for Oklahoma to win in the last game that Tulane played. Coming to this game, now the line is dropped from -3 to now -1 for the spread. I look Tulane to be able to win this game.

I’m not sure if they’ll be able to win by a lot or a little, but based on the competition they have played, I like their chances to win this game but a solid amount. Both their losses were against two really tough ranked teams, and The Ragin Cajuns have yet to play some real competition. I feel as if this number is a bit too low so I will look for the Green Wave to win in the spot here and I love the number.

Georgia Tech +10 (-115)

Georgia Tech is coming off a bit of a break after a tough game against Syracuse. They now come in to this game against Louisville as 10 point dogs on the road. I love Georgia Tech in the underdog role, so I will be taking the 10 points.

In this game, i look for Tech to be able to keep this game close if not maybe win outright if they could get a few bounces to go their way. I look for Tech to run the ball and control the tempo of this game. If they are able to do this, the game will be close

Buffalo +13.5 (-110)

I am taking Buffalo solely on the fact that NIU has had two weeks now to sit on the Notre Dame win. I just look for Buffalo to keep this within two touchdowns in this game.

Rutgers +3.5 (-110)

After watching a few Virginia Tech games, I am gonna be looking to take Rutgers on the road here with the 3.5 points. Virginia Tech has not been that impressive on offense as I thought they would be this year.

Meanwhile, Rutgers has a good chance to take advantage of an easy schedule this year. This could be a huge win for Rutgers, and I look for them to potentially even steal the game here. I’m gonna take the points over the moneyline. That way in case they lose to late field goal, we still get the money.

Oklahoma State -1 (-105)

This line went from +2.5 to -2.5 after the Cam Rising news came out. I am assuming Rising plays in this game, and I still like State regardless. I’ll look for Oklahoma State to be able to take control on the ground and win this game.

This is a huge matchup in the Big12, and this win could set the tone for who could be the winner of the Big12. While Utah’s defense is good I look for Oklahoma to do enough to get them by and be able to win this game by more than a field goal

Toledo -2.5 (-115)

This line feels kind of shocking after what Toledo did to Mississippi State last week. I understand Mississippi State is not good, but I am shocked that it’s only a 2.5 point game here. I really liked what I saw from Toledo against Mississippi State, and I look for them to roll it over here against Western Kentucky. Toledo is looking like it might be the team that could win the MAC, so I look for them to cover in the spot and when this by more than a field goal.

Tennessee -7 (-105)

I am really excited for this game. This will be a fun battle of Tennessee offense vs Oklahoma defense. When it comes to picking this game, I feel as if I have to go with Nico Iamaleava. This will be a very fun and exciting game! To be honest I will not be shocked if Tennessee doesn’t cover, but I can also see them winning this game by 10.

Colorado -1.5 (-110)

I am a bit nervous about this bet due to the fact that Baylor’s defense has been pretty good to start this year. However, Colorado does have a lot of talent at the skill position. Colorado will need to get up early and protect the quarterback, as playing from behind has not been this teams strong suit so far this season.

This will be a tough test for Colorado, but I see them riding the momentum from last week and winning this game. I am excited to see how the combo of Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter look in this game.

South Florida +17 (-110)

I am very curious to see how the matchups will end up in this game. South Florida played Alabama tough until they gave up 28 points in the 4th quarter. They have been playing teams so tough, and I look for the to play Miami Tough as well.

Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day

We have been close in both the NFL and College, so I am going to go back to the basics. We are taking four touchdown scorers to help us get that first win on the board.

I was able to get odds of +860 boosted to +1290 if you choose to use a 50% boost

  • Jamal Haynes anytime touchdown (-125)
  • Ollie Gordon anytime touchdown (-166)
  • Xavier Restrepo anytime touchdown (-230)
  • Kalel Mullings anytime touchdown (+132)
