Thursday Night Football Week 14 gives us what should be a very fun game. Both of these teams desperately need a win, so we should see some of the best out of these teams. Thursday Night Football in Week 14 has the Dallas Cowboys traveling up north to take on the Detroit Lions in a very important NFC clash.
Here are my plays for Thursday Night Football Week 14.
Check out the latest episodes of the JCPod for my full breakdowns and analysis. All odds are a mix/the best number from FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.
Straights
If I was to pick a side, I would take the Detroit Lions. However, I do not like that the number too much in this game. I think the Lions will win this game, but I am not too sure of how much they will win it by. Dallas has been playing really really well these last couple games, and they are now to the point where they could be back in the playoff picture. With how good both of these offenses are, they could put up points like no other. As for the defenses, I trust the Lions defense a tad more than I do the Cowboys, but both of these teams are a bit shaky on that side right now.
Due to all of those factors and many more, I am just gonna sit back and watch this game as a fan, while cheering on a couple props. Maybe if anything I’ll take Lions live if I get a good number.
Props
Isaac TeSlaa over 34.5 receiving yards & over 2.5 receptions (-132)
As of the release of this article, Amon-Ra St. Brown is questionable play in this game. With it being such a quick turnaround, I do not expect them to risk him this week. Assuming he doesn’t play, I look for Isaac TeSlaa to be a guy to step up. He should get a good amount of the snaps this week, and the Cowboys defense still gives up points.
Jahmyr Gibbs over 76.5 rush yards (-114)
With this Lionsteam coming off a bit of a dud game, I look for the offense to be clicking on some better cylinders in this game. I like Gibbs to hit this rushing over, but I am a bit nervous of the new additions on the Cowboys defense.
George Pickens over 80+ receiving yards (-112) & over 5.5 receptions (-112)
Pickens has hit this receiving yards number three games in a row, and missed by one and two yards the two games before that. Pickens has just been elite in this offense, and he might have a big game again in a game that could see a lot of points scored. I like for home to get around 80-90 recieving yards, so this could be a bit sweaty. As for the receptions, he has hit that over five in a row and six of the last seven times.
As for touchdown scorers in this Thursday Night Football Week 14 action, I like: Jahmyr Gibbs (too high of odds to take solo), Isaac TeSlaa (+155), Jameson Williams (+105), CeeDee Lamb (+120) and George Pickens (+125)
