Straights
Alabama vs Oklahoma
I think this is a game that I am going to lay off of. If I was to take anything in this game, it would most likely be the under 39.5 points. Both of these defenses are really talented, and both of these offenses have struggled down the stretch. The extra time off could maybe help out both of these offenses, but I can’t be for sure. I also think the home field advantage will be a massive benefit in Oklahomas favor.
Official bet: Alabama-Oklahoma under 39.5 points
Miami vs Texas A&M
I think that I am a fan of the over 48.5 points (-104) in this game. Both of these defenses have not played the most talented of teams this year. When they did, they usually gave up a good amount of points.
When it comes to playing a side, I just cannot pick either team. I just don’t fully trust in Marcel Reed or Carson Beck. Both of these guys are talented, but they do have some very volatile up and down moments. I like the A&M home factor, but I do not like the -3.5 points.
Official bet: Miami-Texas A&M over 48.5 points
Tulane vs Ole Miss
If Ole Miss is able to use tempo effectively, there’s a good chance that they will be able to expose Tulane’s defense again. When it comes to a weak point in these teams, the secondaries by far the weakest link for both of these squads. I think I am going to stay away from the spread. I’m curious to see how motivated and juiced Ole Miss comes out after the whole Lane Kiffin situation.
If I had to pick, I think that Ole Miss would win this big. However, it is hard to beat a team twice, especially by this much of a spread. Along with that, Jake Retzlaff has been settled in a lot more as a starter since their last matchup.
Official bet: No official bet but I lean Ole Miss spread
Oregon vs James Madison
Something tells me that this is going be a potential under game, so I am going to take the under 47.5 points. I just feel as if this game is going be either Oregon winning it big and blowing out James Madison, or James Madison making this a tough game and limits possessions for Oregon and it becomes a 24 to 20 type of game. I think I lean towards Oregon winning this big especially on a great defensive effort. However, I am just going to stay away from the spreads.
Official bet: Oregon-James Madison under 47.5 points
As for the bowl game bets that I like (up to Tuesday 12/23: Jax State moneyline, Delaware +3 (-110), Kennesaw State +3.5 (-118), and Utah State moneyline (-120).
Parnell’s Nasty Boy Parlay Play of the Day
For the Nasty Boy, we are going to combine the two bowl games with two bets from the CFP:
I was able to get odds of +1168 boosted to +1460 with a 25% boost:
- Utah State money line (-120)
- Miami-Texas A&M over 48.5 (-104)
- Kennesaw State +3.5 (-118)
- Oregon-James Madison under 47.5 points
Let’s have a DAY! PLEASE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY!
